Surge (Ryvok) is an innovative fitness program for building an athletic body in just 60 days.

Background:

The most popular fitness program in the country rises to a new level. It leads to a complete renovation of the brand. Following the development of brand identity, we proceeded with the development of the website.

Challenge:

Create a website that would become an out-of-the-box presentation of:
— classic Surge fitness program
— innovative Surge-Beat fitness program
— children's Surge-Teens fitness program
— affiliate business proposals

What is more, the website should become a centre of information on training, schedules, locations and Surge lifestyle.

Solution:

A website that embodies an exciting and immersive experience for users, providing them with all the necessary information about Surge fitness program. Smartphone and tablet users are also taken into consideration.

First of all, during the period of construction of the new website, we put a functional temporary page featuring NSС Olympic (the main sports location in Ukraine). It demonstrates the scale of the changes in the project:

Then we focus on the development of pages of three programs: a classical Surge, a new Surge-Beat and a unique Surge-Teens program for kids.

We have conducted an in-depth interview with the author of the programs. The resulting information is structured and converted into three exciting presentations.

Each presentation has the same sequence of narrative: Visualize the essence → Briefly about the program → WOW-facts, and ends with blocks of general information (Feedback, FAQ, Blog posts).

1. Classic Surge

An original Surge fitness program has already been well known, so the first slide of the presentation demonstrates its main achievements. A dynamic video sequence consists of concise quotations and vivid visualization:

2. Surge-Beat

The whole complex of exercises of this program comes with the dynamic DJ sets. Our team had to deal with a creative challenge: how can we reproduce the essence of Surge-Beat fitness program in an engaging and clear manner?

s We’ve decided to show a dynamic set of exercises to website users forcing the program author make them all :) A series of videos has been produced and integrated into the website, and a user is invited to make Maxim Yaroshenko MOVE WITH THE BEAT :)

3. Surge-Teens

This program is designed to provide kids and teens with an overall physical training. To convey its mission, we have developed the basic idea of the program: "Whatever your child wants to do in the future, Surge-Teens will help her to be prepared!"

The key visuals include kids and their active hobbies. The centre of the idea is a simple and comprehensive message of the program: "The best preparation for any activity":

Profound work on the texts

The presentation of each program is a combination of powerful visuals and copywriting. All the texts of the main presentations are created with a single purpose—we have to convey the most important facts about each program quickly and easily:

Design process and socialization

Apart from the presentations, the interface design is thoroughly planned. The most important items, three fitness programs and a blog, are placed on the quick access toolbar. The feedback form and blog posts are always easy to access as well.

All the reviews consist of opinions and pictures of program participants. And what is more, links to their profiles on social networks are also there, so that website visitors can ask for recommendations directly from the people familiar with the matter.

Besides, any website content can be shared on social networks.

In addition to the desktop version, adaptive versions for tablets and mobile devices are made. The website keeps its usability all the time!

As a result, the fitness internet community got the biggest and the best quality website ever! And our team spent unforgettable 11 months of working on the project :-)
